In Indonesia, one of the world's largest rice producers, the harvest leaves behind a staggering 53 to 60 million tons of rice husks (gabah) every single year. For generations, this by-product has been burned, discarded, forgotten. A quiet cost of feeding a nation.

We saw something else. 🌾

The Gabah Collection was born from a simple belief: that nothing should be wasted, and everything has the potential for a second life. We take these rice husks and blend them with recycled rubber to create the Gabah Sole. A sole built not just for performance, but for purpose.

Made in partnership with Astungkara Way, the Gabah Sole supports regenerative rice farming in Bali; training local farmers, enabling academic research into restorative practices, and creating space for volunteers to get involved. Proof that fashion can be a tool for nurturing and caring for ecosystems.
